Phase 3 Sound Matching

This resource contains two types of boards: letters and pictures for each set of sounds taught in Phase 3.
 
The letter boards can be used as a simple matching activity where the pupils match magnetic letters or bottle tops with the letters written on them. It can also be used as a bingo activity where the pupils cover the letter that makes the sound the adult says.
 
The picture boards can be used in a similar way to the letter boards where magnetic letters or bottle tops with the letters written on can be matched to the picture that starts or ends with (ck, ff, ll and ss) the sound. Alternatively use as a find it activity where you ask pupils to find something that starts/ends with a particular sound.
