This pack contains the following five resources which are perfect for learning the Phase 2 especially for SEN pupils who need extra consolidation:

 

Phase 2 Sound Bingo

This pack contains four sets of bingo boards with picture cards. Each set has six sound boards and six pictures to match each sound. The sound boards in each set cover six sounds with each sound in a different position. The sets are as follows:

  • Set A:  s a t p i n
  • Set B:  m d g o c k
  • Set C:  ck e r u b h
  • Set D: f ff l ll ss plus a sound from another set

 

Phase 2 Sound Mats

This pack contains a sound mat for each of the Phase 2 sounds. Each mat covers letter formation and fine motor. They can be used in two ways:

  • Laminated – playdough whiteboard pen, tweezers and pompoms
  • Paper – playdough, rainbow write using crayons, pencil and bingo dabbers.

 

Phase 2 - Sound Sorters

This pack contains worksheets for sorting. Each sheet has 2 – 3 sounds and corresponding pictures. Pupils cut and stick the pictures with which sound they start with or end with (ck, ll, ff, ss).

 

Phase 2 - Sound Dabbers

This pack contains a sound dabber sheet for each of the Phase 2 sounds. Each sheet covers sound identification and formation. The letter identification can be used with bingo dabbers, highlighters or crayons.

 

Phase 2 - Sound Hunt

This pack contains worksheets for identifying sounds. Each sheet has one sound with pictures inside.. Pupils colour the pictures with which sound they start with or end with (ck, ll, ff, ss).

 

These resources can be used as intervention, part of your phonics lessons, continuous provision, assessment and even sent home.
