Phase 2 Little Readers
This pack contains 11 of our Funky Phonics Little Reader Books. They are the next step up from our Word Readers as they concentrate on reading two-word captions.
All the books are phonetically decodable. Enabling children to gain confidence in blending words. They also include a photograph for the word to help develop understanding and vocabulary.
Each book has a section for reading the sounds.
Included in the set are books that use the tricky words I and the. Further books include the use of the high-frequency words a, big, and it. There are also books that look at red objects and captions using cat and dog.
These books are designed to supplement current reading schemes within school. They can be used as home readers, school readers, for interventions, and even used in your phonic lessons in the apply stage.
