Phase 2 Blending Bingo

This versatile pack contains boards for word and oral blending covering the sounds taught in Phase 2 following the order they are taught.
 
They can be used in the following ways:
The word boards can be used by the adult sounding out the word e.g. t-a-p and the children orally blending it by saying the word and then finding the word on the board. They can either circle, point, or use an object to indicate they’ve found the word.
 
Alternatively use the pictures from the corresponding oral blending board and cut them out. Show the children one of the pictures and they find the word that matches the picture.
 
The picture boards can be used by the adult sounding out the word for one of the pictures e.g. m-a-n and the children orally blending it by saying the word and then finding the picture on the board. They can either circle, point, or use an object to indicate they’ve found the picture.
 
Alternatively use the words from the corresponding word blending board and cut them out. Show the children one of the words. Either blend the word together or by themselves. Then they find the word that matches the picture.
 
They can also be used as part of your continuous provision as well as interventions. Simply print the picture and word boards, then cut either the picture or words to create a matching activity.
